Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Production Manager will oversee the daily operations of all production (Assembly, Paint, Welding, Toolroom and Machine Shop), ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and within safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily production activities to meet company targets for efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Plan and organize production schedules, ensuring optimal resource allocation and inventory management.
- Supervise production teams, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improvements in efficiency, cost reduction, and product quality.
- Develop and implement processes to improve product consistency and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., quality control, maintenance, supply chain) to ensure seamless production.
- Maintain production records, reports, and logs to monitor performance and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.
