Job Requirements of Quality Assurance Inspector:
● Technologist Diploma/Certificate in Quality Assurance or Quality Control preferred.
● Good computer skills
● Good written and verbal communication skills
● Minimum 2 years practical shop floor experience
● Forklift experience
● Strong problem solving abilities and an attention to details.
● General knowledge of blue print reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
● Good time management and organizational skills.
● Experience with ISO 9000 certification
● General knowledge of shop floor safety rules and regulations
Working Conditions:
● 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
● Work periods in shop and in the office

Quality Assurance Inspector
Job Summary:
Responsible for interactions related to the monitoring, investigation and resolution of product or process quality concerns. Responsible for the implementation of the quality assurance program.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
● Conduct product inspections in assembly and or primaries departments
● Prepare inspection reports and present inspection results
● Investigate non-conformances and determine disposition of non-conforming/defective parts or components; including tagging, report writing/documenting and return/cost recovery, and root cause.
● Liaise with suppliers, manufacturing engineering, design engineering, service, purchasing and shop floor staff to develop action plans for non-conforming parts/processes
● Perform other duties as directed by the Quality Director
