Territory Sales Representative

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within Alberta and British Columbia, by developing strong relationships with Dealers and effectively promoting our products and services. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical sales expertise and strong leadership skills, enabling them to analyze market trends and negotiate effectively to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts within your territory to drive sales growth.

· Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for new business and expansion within existing accounts.

· Effectively track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and report on performance metrics.

· Engage in outside sales activities, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events to generate leads.

· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues that may arise.

· Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while ensuring alignment with company policies.

· Provide product demonstrations and technical support to clients as needed.

· Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies that may impact the market.



Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Skills

· Post-secondary education preferred with related industry experience.

· Proven experience in equipment sales and account management, within the agricultural sector.

· Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration and motivation.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software for managing customer relationships.

· Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.

· Ability to analyze market data and trends to inform strategic decisions.

· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on building rapport with clients.

· Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently in an outside sales environment.
