Job Description


Come and become a member of our great Finance Department at Buhler Industries. As Manager, you will have have direct leadership and responsibility of all financial reporting functions of the Company. You will lead a small finance team. In your role you will prepare all formal internal and external financial statements and taxes.

Key Responsibilities:

●  Preparation of annual audited financial statements

●  Preparation of Annual Report for shareholder and regulatory authorities

●  Preparation of unaudited Quarterly Reports for shareholder and regulatory authorities

●  Preparation of monthly financial statements for management and internal purposes

●  Preparation of tax returns for all Companies in the consolidated group

●  Interfacing with taxation authorities

●  Formulating the appropriate Corporate accounting policies and ensuring they are applied in conformance with IFRS

●  Staying abreast of all current accounting pronouncements and incorporating them into the Company’s policies where applicable

●  Interfacing with both the external auditors and the audit committee

●  Preparation of annual operating budgets and analysis of results against budget

●  Analyzing corporate financing needs and recommending solutions to senior management

●  Special projects as requested

●  Assisting other Corporate departments

Job Requirements

What you bring to the role:

●  Post secondary degree in Business, or a related discipline

●  Professional Accounting designation (CPA CA) and preference given to those coming from public practice

●  Membership in good standing with a Professional accounting body

●  5 - 10 or more years of related experience with progressive responsibility

●  Supervisory experience is required

●  Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

●  Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

●  Ability to use a computerized accounting system, with skills in word processing, spreadsheets, database software and accounting software

●  Respect for confidentiality

●  Ability to work independently or as a member of a team, and get along with other people

●  Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
